Daily Make up Instructions

The fast speed of everyday life and our hectic lifestyles nowadays  leaves us a little time to dedicate ourselves to that oh so important everyday make up and beauty routine we should have. But, regardless of all that, there are a few “golden” rules that should never be forgotten, when quality applying make up . Today’s theme is Daily make up, so here are some tips on how to properly apply make up for the daylight. The same could be also used in the evening make up.     We all know that the “beautifying”process starts with applying foundation,or cream powder. This stage must perfectly match the colour of your skin. It is very important to be well applied with a thin layer on your face and little bit on your neck. You must be careful not to exaggerate with the foundation, if you apply a bit to much of it on your face, it will look like you are wearing a mask in the daylight, or even worse, like a filled cake. So, we want to stick with the natural look by applying a thin layer of make up .If you want to achieve lighter, gentle glow on your face, mix a few drops of lotion, or cream into your foundation. For a dramatic effect, emphasise certain parts of the face with sparkling bronze dust. Use your fingers and apply a little on your cheek bones and onto the line of your nose.         While applying powder, use a proper powder brush, the bigger the better. It is also important not to apply too much powder, be it either dust, or pressed. Pay attention to the quality of the powder, and again if it matches your skin.         If you have the dreaded problem of dark circles around eyes, do not worry at all, nowadays this problem can easily be solved. There is a wide range of products on the market, in different tones and shades for concealing the dark circles around your eyes. The concealer should be a shade or two lighter than your natural skin colour, otherwise you will achieve a very undesired look.  As for the previously mentioned products, the rule is the same- do not exaggerate. Remember, the purpose is to hide the dark circles around the eyes, not be masqueraded.               Gently apply layers of blush on the cheek bones. Drip it a little, to look more natural. Remember, this way you are emphasising the lines of your face. We could either apply it softly and gently, making our face look fantastic, or we can turn out to look very funny and even ugly. If you make a mistake and apply too much blush, no panic – no need to repeat the procedure. Only moist cotton ball and gently roll over the cheeks.         After applying foundation, powder and brush, it is time for eye make up. Use a sharp pencil to define the eyes, a thin layer for more natural look. Recommendable colours for daily make up : shades of brown.  Always keep the eye pencil sharpened, it is ideal to sharpen it before each use. TIP: Using sharpened eye pencil to draw a thin line around the lashes, makes your lashes look thicker and more volumisish. When you do not have enough time, simply add a shadow in the middle of your eyelid to create sharper eyes. The first place you apply the pencil or brush will be the strongest colour. Apply mascara. Recommendable colours: brown and black. Apply layer by layer.                           Define your lips using a soft lip pencil in a colour that matches the colour of the lipstick that you are planning to use, and then apply lipstick . To make your lips softer and more appealing, apply a lip gloss. TIP: To avoid easily removable lipstick, apply a little powder on your lips before applying the lipstick that you are planning to wear. This way, the lipstick will absorb better, and last longer. TIP:  If you want to check how long lasting is the lipstick that you are planning to purchase at store, apply a bit of the tester on your hand, and gently rub it with your fingers. If it fades immediately, the lipstick will not stay on you lips very long either. ‘ No matter what lipstick you use, there is only one rule , make sure the lipstick you are using is matching your skin tone, as well as the colour of your hair and eyes.
